CEF Diary Dates for September/ October
The Adult Education & Training Exhibition takes place this year from Tuesday 4th to Thursday 6th September at City Hall. CEF will be taking a stand at the exhibition, we have found in past years it is a great opportunity to engage with the public and inform people of our work. On Tuesday and Thursday the exhibition runs from 5pm -9pm whilst Wednesday 5th it will be open from 12.30pm – 6pm. If anyone is interested in volunteering for an hour on the stand on any of these dates please do get in touch. All help much appreciated.

The Rebel Pedal takes place this year on Saturday 15th September and with an overall increase in cycling in the population we expect that the event will attract record numbers. The Parade will start at the Grand Parade and end with a picnic near the Atlantic Pond.

A consultation entitled “Collaborating for the Future” will take place at the Lifetime Lab on Wednesday 26th September  from 7pm -9.30pm with all of our stakeholders. That includes you and we hope you can participate and give your input which will help guide the organisations strategy going forward.

Our AGM will be held at Blackrock Observatory on Thursday 4th October @ 7pm.  Part of the AGM is the election of committee members. If you are interested we would encourage you to get more involved and consider becoming part of our Management Committee. It is a great opportunity to help direct and develop the organisation in cooperation with a team of like-minded people.
More details on all these events will be circulated nearer the dates.

Lastly, we have a new website under construction, which we hope will "go live" in the next few weeks. The initial weeks will help to iron out any glitches and we hope to develop a useful section on resources and information. We always welcome feedback on this or any other item so please get in touch if you have any comments.
