This evening a consultation takes place on the Marina Park Development and this week is the final opportunity to input to this stage of the consultation on the Cork City Development Plan.

Draft Marina Park Masterplan - Deadline for Submissions Wednesday 26th June by 4pm.
A public consultation information forum will be held today Tuesday, 11th June 2013 at the Atrium, City Hall between 4.30pm and
8.00pm
, for those who wish to attend. Copies of the Plan are available for inspection at the Reception Desk, City Hall between 9.00am and 4.00pm Monday to Friday, or online here.

Cork City Development Plan - Deadline for Submissions Monday 17th June by 4pm.
Cork City Council has commenced the review of the City Development Plan 2009-2015 and preparations of a new City Development Plan. 
Written submissions or observation are invited from interested parties during the period of 22nd April 2013 to 4pm, 17th June 2013. Please see here the related issues document.

Consultation period extended for CEDRA feedback
The CEDRA (Commission for Economic Development of Rural Areas) invitation to submit comments has been extended to 30th June (original closing date was 30th April).  See their website. 
 
The Commission was established by the Department of Environment, Community and Local Government to conduct a comprehensive research exercise and produce a detailed report that will inform the medium term economic development of rural areas for the period to 2025.

 
Public Consultation for Ireland’s first Aarhus Convention National Implementation Report 2014

The Aarhus Convention lays down a set of basic rules to promote citizen’s involvement in environmental matters and improve enforcement of environmental law. Its provisions are broken down into three Pillars: Access to Information, Public Participation in Environmental Decision-making, and Access to Justice. Ireland ratified the Aarhus Convention on 20 June 2012.
Prior to finalising Ireland’s first National Implementation Report, Minister Hogan encourages members of the public and other parties with an interest in the protection of Ireland’s environment to submit comments on the implementation of the Aarhus Convention into Irish law.
The purpose of this consultation is to provide the UNECE, the Aarhus Convention Secretariat and the Aarhus Convention Compliance Committee with the widest possible range of views and opinions on issues related to the implementation and practical arrangements for the promotion of the Aarhus Convention in Ireland.

Public Consultation on Oil/Gas Licensing of Belfast and Larne Loughs

Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA) of Oil/Gas Licensing in Belfast Lough and Larne Lough
The Department of Enterprise, Trade and Investment (DETI) is currently developing criteria for Petroleum Licensing in Belfast and Larne Loughs (the Plan). The plan will provide a framework for how petroleum licensing will be undertaken in the internal waters of Northern Ireland.  Click HERE for more information.
