Tree Week
A Feast of Trees    'Féile na gCrainn'
The primary aim of National Tree Week is to encourage people to plant more trees and the emphasis in 2013 will be on planting trees that provide a food source for humans, birds, bees and other wildlife.

A celebration of Tree Week will take place at Future Orchard Trust on Sunday 10th March from 1pm -3pm. This will include a talk by Conor Kelleher on "Bats & Botany", sand martin nests by Tom O'Byrne, some information on the orchard and some light refreshments. Do join us, even if the weather is somewhat inclement, the Orchard has indoor facilities.

As parking is limited please let me know if you are interested in attending, we will carpool as much as possible from the City to Glanmire. Directions available at their Facebook Page.
