Notice of Annual General Meeting 2012

 
Date:        Thursday, 4th October 2012  
Venue:      Blackrock Observatory, Blackrock, Cork

I am pleased to announce our forthcoming AGM.   We hope that you will make the time to attend this important meeting.  There will be some light refreshments on arrival and a film screening at 7.15pm, prior to the AGM at 8pm. Details of the film to be screened will be forwarded shortly.
 
We ask that you please do attend the AGM and if possible be prepared to stand for election to the Management Committee.  Information on what the Management Committee does and the responsibilities of its members can be supplied. The full list of current Members will be available at the AGM.
 
Only currently paid-up members can vote at the AGM.  Please use the website to renew on line or forward your subscription for this year.  Membership cards will be issued to paid up Members at the AGM.
 
Please see a copy of the minutes of last year’s AGM.  Also a form for to use for voting at the AGM by proxy for members who are unable to attend in person.  If you wish to use this form it must be returned as indicated by Friday 28th September 2012.
 
If you would like to propose any motions or make any other proposals to be included in the AGM, these must be also be returned to the address below by Friday 28th September 2012 fully signed by a proposer and a seconder, both of whom must be current paid up members of the Forum.  Motions and proposals may also be accepted from the floor at the AGM at the discretion of the Chairperson.
 
We look forward to seeing you at this AGM which is an important event for CEF.
